Business Description
The Gamma chapter of Pi Kappa Phi is based out of UC Berkeley. As members, we are men of C.L.A.S.S. who firmly believe in the tenets of Character, Leadership, Academics, Sportsmanship, and Service.
Pi Kappa Phi's national philanthropy, Push America, is the only philanthropic organization exclusively owned and operated by a North American Fraternity. Founded in 1977 by Executive Director Durward Owen, Push America's aim is to enhance the quality of life for people with disabilities while instilling lifelong service and leadership skills of its members. With it's three central areas of focus in mind (Disability Awareness, Fundraising, and Volunteerism), Push America donates over $2 Million dollars a year to the disabled community, all facilitated by united national effort of honest and hard work by our Pi Kappa Phi brothers. Throughout the calendar year, brothers of Pi Kappa Phi organize events to benefit Push America, while in turn molding themselves and others into better leaders of the future.
For more information on Push America, please visit http://pushamerica.org/
Events such as Build America (a six week program building disabled-friendly facilities and summer camps) and the Journey of Hope (a transcontinental biking odyssey to raise awareness for the disabled community) are just some examples of how brothers of this fraternity continually participate in and practice the virtues of both Pi Kappa Phi and Push America.
The Gamma Chapter itself ranks among the top 20 in the nation of Pi Kappa Phi Chapters in Push America Fundraising. To make a gift to the chapter, please following this link. As men of CLASS, we can guarantee you will see firsthand the fruits of our labor and your generous assistance.

The Gamma Chapter of Pi Kappa Phi is always actively seeking out potential new members to this fraternity. As a chapter that firmly believes in the tenets of C.L.A.S.S., the brothers of this fraternity diligently recruit men of such characteristics. If you are a student of UC Berkeley, please feel free to come to our next open social or rush event, and do not be afraid to contact any brothers of the chapter that you may know.
The chapter offers a $500 scholarship to a single member of each pledge class, in respect to a young man who best exemplifies the five tenets of C.L.A.S.S. upon application and reception of an invitation to join the fraternity. For more information on the scholarship, please contact the previously noted people.
